Travonnie has spent her career deepening the capability and confidence of others. She's a teacher and coach at heart who is constantly looking for opportunities to facilitate growth and Empact. With a B.B.A. from Howard University and a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University, she combines her passion for education and leadership development to enhance organizations. Travonnie is a fierce advocate for equitable access in talent system design and works to ensure people have excellent managers. Her team leads consulting, coaching and training projects to change the way organizations engage talent.

Nautrie has spent the last twenty years dedicated to people centered leadership. She's an educator to the core and believes that everyone can reach their full potential- we need to create space for that to happen. With a B.S. in Child Development from Texas Woman's University and a Master of Education from Cambridge College, Nautrie's leadership elevated teacher training and development, high-performing teams, and statewide partnerships. Nautrie believes that by getting clear with her team on what success looks like and by caring about them as human beings, it creates an opportunity to do really Empactful work.

Director of Learning & Development

Waneka draws from over 15 years of experience in education and leadership development to empower individuals and organizations towards exceptional growth. She specializes in fostering emotional intelligence and personal development, underpinning the core of transformational leadership. Waneka holds a B.A. in Psychology from Argosy University along with credentials from the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching and the International Coaching Federation. She believes that nurturing compassionate leadership and personal empowerment unlocks potential and expands Empact.

Executive Assistant | Project Manager

Nyleciya has spent most of her life fulfilling her purpose, which is to help others. After earning an A.S. in Law at St. Vincent Community College, life took an unexpected turn and steered her in a different pursuit. With plans to further her education in Business Administration, Nyleciya embodies her dedication to helping people do Empactful work by ensuring that operations and projects run smoothly and efficiently. An empath at heart, she is passionate about seeing people and organizations maximize their potential and achieve success. She is committed to doing what she can to help them get there.

Operations Manager

Karen is a first-generation daughter of immigrants, who grew up in a family with mixed immigration statuses. Exposure to systemic challenges fueled her dedication to 

environmental justice, social justice, and equity. Karen obtained a B.S. in Biology from California State University, Chico. Frustrated by systems that favor certain groups, she is committed to fostering environments that treat employees with empathy and respect. She is passionate about ensuring they have access to opportunities, regardless of their background, and are empowered to continue their essential work of advocating for social change and justice.
